Bellaria Igea Marina is situated in a perfect position to reach the Theme Parks of the Adriatic Coast: in fact between Ravenna and Cattolica there are the biggest amusement parks of Italy and, in some special cases, of Europe.
One of these is of course, Mirabilandia, which is surrounded by 800 thousand square kilometres of green oasis, offers 42 theme attractions and 10 live spectacles per day. During Summer Mirabilandia Beach opens, it is a new area completely dedicated to water games and water slides directly linked to the main park. You can reach the park by car following highway E45 direction Ravenna, exit Mirabilandia.
In Riccione, Aquafan is the most important water park in Europe, it was built in 1987 and its attractions are today worldly famous: the Waves Pool, the Kamikaze, the Extreme and the latest Strizzacool slides. Acquafan is situated right at the exit of A14 highway, so it is very easy to reach it. On the same hill of Acquafan there is Oltremare, the park full of amazing paths and meeting with nature, a trip full of surprises discovering the dolphins lagoon, with their spectacles as main attraction of the park’s visit.
Oltremare is at Riccione exit of A14 Highway. In Viserba of Rimini there is the theme park completely dedicated to the Italian historical, architectonic and cultural heritage.
At the end, in the park Le Navi, along the sea road of Cattolica, you can find the sharks world and about 3000 fishes coming from the earth’s seas and oceans in the biggest aquarium of the Adriatic Coast. It was built in 1932 as a holiday camp at the request of Mussolini, today it has been completely reconstructed in ward of the Superintendency for Architecture of Ravenna, the structure represents a great example of Futuristic architecture of Adriatic Coast. All the buildings together appear like a navy fleet ready to the launch.
Italia in Miniatura is in fact, the real “grand tour” among 272 true scale reproductions of world famous Italian monuments and structures. It is a worthy experience or adults but also for schooling children. Italia In Miniatura is along SS 16 Adriatica a few kilometres far from exit Rimini Nord, Highway A14.
A perfect theme park for families with young children is Fiabilandia. Magic atmospheres, enchanted castles, knights and princesses stories, completely surrounded by nature, the park has always paid a special attention to environmental problems. During the years it has actively collaborated with Italy WWF explaining to thousands of visitors environmental problems which are usually difficult to explain to a wide public. It is also the perfect park for guided tours for infant and primary school. It is situated along SS16 in Rivazzurra of Rimini.
